BlueBay Asset Management (BlueBay) is a specialist fixed income manager focusing on sovereign and corporate debt in developed and emerging markets.

BlueBay provides asset management services to institutional investors and financial distribution networks. Our approach is characterised by a belief in the value of active management, a strong investment process, the generation of attractive risk-adjusted returns and an emphasis on capital preservation for all our investment strategies.

Anthony Pickering

Anthony is Head of UK and Ireland at BlueBay. Anthony joined BlueBay from Old Mutual  Asset Managers where he was Director of their institutional business. Prior to that he spent ten years with Alliance Bernstein, working in Australia, New Zealand and most recently in the UK, where he was a sales and client relations director. His career in financial services began at Deloitte & Touche in Cape Town in 1995. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town and is a chartered accountant. Anthony is a CFA charterholder

Bhavika Patel

Bhavika is an Associate Director within the Global Business Development team with a focus on developing strategy for Defined Contribution schemes and business development for alternative strategies at BlueBay. Before joining BlueBay, Bhavika spent six years at Willis Towers Watson, advising DC pension schemes on their investment strategy, multi-asset manager research and was involved with setting up WTW’s first Master Trust. Bhavika has a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Economics from the University of Birmingham, and is a CFA charterholder.
